Good Afternoon and a Merry Christmas to you. Not if you're a Freeman's Catalogue Customer! I'm aware that this kind of shopping is not the best method but, because of my personal situation, it's my only choice for pressys for my wife, children and other relatives. Not wanting to disappoint, I ordered an item which, according to Freeman's was for delivery on the 18th of December. On the 18th, when the expected item didn't get delivered, I contacted Freeman's Customer Service that they had been informed the 'phone would not be available for delivery because the item, a mobile 'phone, hadn't been delivered by T-Mobile to Freeman's. I was informed by Freeman's Customer Service that, the 'phone would be delivered today, the 23rd of December. Well, you probably know where this going, the 'phone didn't arrive. So, I contacted Freeman's again and was informed that T-Mobile now reports that they out of stock of this 'phone. Freemans Customer Service have agreed verbally that they made a mistake by not informing me in a reasonable time frame but, cannot provide any form of solution to my problem today. I need to write in and make a written complaint and maybe I can be offered some compensation.
So, in simple terms no 'phone christmas pressy. When I complained, the Freeman's Customer Service person put me on hold and on her return informed me that even Team Leaders or Managers have no authority within the Company to resolve these kinds of situations on the day. It all has to be done in writing. It seems that I'm having to absorb Freemans supply problems with T-mobile. The item was available to order at my time ordering, so doesn't that give me some sort of contract with Freemans?

Where do I stand? I am going to complain to Freemans. If anyone has any advice, I would appreciate it.
