Landlords offer notice: private contract?

Last Friday we received a letter from a solicitor containing the txt

RE: Notification of the sale of the Freehold/Long leasehold interest in (our address but not specifically our property but the estate name)



Dear Sir,

On behalf of the landlord, we enclose formal notice pursuant to S.5 Landlord & Tenant Act 1987.

Yours Faithfully,

Solicitors name

Then attached is

Its on facebook but with a .com between facebook. and /photo

i cant post it in here as i'm a new user sorry

So basically what I want to know is, will this affect me? Or is it just a case of the house builders selling their interest in the land to someone else? Really hope it doesnt cost me anything!!
