I got paid today and have just paid of my last £538.24 of credit card debt. :T I am now DEBT FREE after having overdraft and credit card hanging over me since the start of my uni days 5 years ago.
2009 is the first year I have really tried to get my finances in order - I've been budgeting more and more and for me is still quite a new and difficult concept for me! But I am really happy to be out of the red. This is the best xmas present I could ever give myself - a clean slate to make plans for the future.
Thank you for your sound advice and no doubt I will be on this forum lots more. Merry xmas to all
