Home made ones are the best. If however you don't have time, Marks and Spencers are by far the best of the ready made ones

Greggs don;t state ingredients and I think they still use hydrogenates.

    Fear not!

By the end of June 2009, we will complete the removal of hydrogenated fats and oils from our bakery ingredients which will help to minimise the presence of trans and saturated fats.

My bf insisted on buying the mince pies for our Christmas, as he's fussy about them. He prefers the Sainsbury's Taste the Difference ones.

Tesco's finest - lovely short pastry, good amount of fillling and very boozy:rotfl:

i really like the morrisons or asda bakery ones.. the flatter type rather than the deeper ones.

Same here- I'm very fussy about mince pies, and only eat the flatter ones from the in-store bakery.

Curiously, I can only ever find them in Morrisons and Sainsburys around here in West London. Tesco only seem to do the puff-pastry ones and Asda only do 'luxury' ones...
