Slow cooker help needed

Options
I am trying my new sc out for the first time today, and decided to try the Creamy pork chop recipe I found on here. It says to pour the chicken bouillon over the pork chops and cook on slow for 6-7 hours.

My only concern is that the bouillon doesn't cover the chops (I have 5 and only 3 lay flat on the bottom), does this matter? I don't want to get it wrong cos it sounds lovely, and I'm drooling already over the smell of frying them first. :o

TIA!

Oh well, it's only got 4 hours left now - I guess I'll know soon enough :) I've given it a stir so all the chops get a go being in the sauce.

I haven't tried that recipe but it's ok, they don't need to be covered. You'd probably end up with too much sauce.
  • How did your meal turn out? I might try that one.

I was under the impression that you had to have filled the slow cooker 3/4 full. Is it ok to cook with just the bottom being covered?

You must try it - It was the most delicious thing I've tried for a long time - and in fact, I have 5 chops waiting in the fridge for to do the same thing tomorrow! It's SCRUMMY! :j :j :j
