IMAX Screen in belfast?

Options
Hi,

Juts wondering if the IMAX screen at the Odyssey is still active? All the websites around it seem to be down or expired. Was hoping to see Avatar :D but I have the feeling I'll be waiting a long time..:o

  • hey i think this has been closed for some time now, they have that film playing in the cityside cinema (yorkgate) and at the odeon in 3d, if you go on a tuesday you get it for £3 in the cityside as they don't charge extra for 3D films, i think the odeon will be about £3.75 on a tuesday, prob about £6 any other day :)

Long gone. I think that not all films were suitable as they had to be shot in a special format.

Thanks! I haven't lived here for ages so I wasn't sure. What a shame! I'll see it in 3D instead :D
  • no problem ben, it looks a good film :) i watched that christmas carol last night it was pretty good, hopefully see avatar soon

jmc do the storm now have a 3D screen? we use to go to that cinema all the time on a tuesday when it was £2.50 for a film, i didn't think they had a 3D screen yet though? and if they do would they not charge more for it as i thought it was only the moviehouse who didn't charge an extra fee for 3D films.
