Celebrities who died penniless

On the Bankruptcy Board, we have a popular thread 'Famous Bankrupts - Past and Present' to which names are constantly being added, including people as diverse as Mozart and Kerry Katona.
Times Online lists ten celebrities who 'died penniless' including George Best, Oscar Wilde and Linda Lovelace:

Obviously they would all have benefited if they had known of this forum's existence, but it's too late now.
I just thought it would be interesting to see who we could 'add' to the list.
And remember - it's only a bit of fun - no inflammatory posts or remarks, please.

I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Van Gough - died peniless but his paintings sold for millions after his death....
Hoping my artist husband doesn't have a similar career.......0 -
I didn't know that some of them were dead!
Most famous artists died penniless, they either couldn't make money while they were alive due to their talent not being recognised, or lived at a time when artists were considered tradesmen and didn't get paid much.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Not very famous, but I looked up Barry Evans, the guy who played the teacher in the 70's show Mind Your Language. He died penniless and was working as a taxi driver.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Didn't Michael Jackson die with huge debts?Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -

lol, I just wondered what other programmes/films he was in and looked him up on google a few weeks ago. Quite sad to find out what had become of him.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -
