thanks - its all so confusing. Just looked into my egg and seems thats all as it should be as its an online agreement. What happens when they send you new terms arent they also supposed to provide a signed copy or something then?0

Not necessarily, mk. However, they must provide a copy of the original, executed consumer credit agreement within 12 working days of your request. Failure to do so will put them 'in default' of their legal obligations under sections 77/78 of the Consumer Credit Act, 1974.
Current T&C will not constitute a compliant copy of the cca.
Since yours is an 'on-line' agreement, you should be aware that the Act was amended in 2007 with specific regard to 'on-line' agreements.

The Egg agreement is dated 2006 online - I read all signature tick boxes were legal pre 2007?0

perhaps Im not that daft after all LOL - well I got back £1200 from Natwest with their charges before that was ruled out.
Im a little concerned though as Im about to take out a DMP through CCCS - would it be better to wait for the creditors to accept those payments before annoying them anymore?0 -

It might be better to discuss the actual agreement with CCCS first, mk.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
