Hi MD - please don't think I am being judgemental or criticicising you but Kes did not mean this post in the way that you have read it.

The post was very 'in keeping' with the Christmas spirit being something of Christmas cheer and best wishes for us all to enjoy - a sentiment that has been lacking from the board noticibly this year - and something that someone (Kes, in this case) has bothered to find and post to express a charming sentiment for us all - not hundreds but thousands of people use this board to gain things but barely any bother to post a nice thought such as this, even at Christmas.

Can see why you may have thought what you did but it was not a 'back handed' post - I think you may have been logging on and sending off for things without scrolling down and reading or seeing all the negative & unecessary antaganistic provocations that are posted by people (instead of them either thanking the 'poster' and sending off for .. or just not applying for if they are not interested in something [which some has put on, not for personal gain but for the benfit of all of us]) ..... or you have just been lucky enough to have sent off for things before the negative posts come along!

Kes was just saying in a light hearted and non-confrontmentional way, that this has been noticed - and it is true; people should lighten up. This board is for fun, friendship & freebies and not for all the negative posts that have been appearing.


Afterall, people only post for others to benefit from, not for themselves and if it wasn't for them, the board would not exist.


I am not saying this with any negative feeling towards you - just trying to explain; Kes was prob. a bit taken aback by your reply after posting something that was nice for us all and think you have genuinally misunderstood.

thanks for that pip, like i have said some do need to lighten up, the amount of people that are nasty when all the op is asking for is support has grown considerably in the last few months, most of the time i do not say anything just send my support to the person via message,
