Just found this on another forum. dvdcrave.com are selling the DS Lite for AUD $199.00. With shipping this comes to a total of £78.20 delivered to the UK. You won't be hit with customs either as dvdcrave mark their items as gifts with a total of AUD $30.
They also have a DS Lite plus New Super Mario Bros bundle for £100.54 delivered.

guys, watch for customs charges tho, DVD crave are based in Oz
the other forum has reported lots of successes in not being charged customs fees, but if you get stung, it'll cost you aound £20-£25 quid on an order for £100 (VAT + handling fee)money saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

I found a website selling the new DS Lite for less than £70.00, goto www.dvdstars.com remember to use promo code **code deleted by board guide please read the rules here ** for 10% off.
Hope this helps, why pay game or hmv £130 when you may have games already.

Ohhh, if theres no customs, thats a great deal! I have a pink DS which i love to pieces.... but the lite one does look so much better, just not anohter £130 better
but £70 is justifyable! ~Diminutive0 -
It's very tempting, but a few things to consider first:
Bear in mind that if it's a canadian model, the manufacturer's warranty typically won't be valid in this country at all if something goes wrong with it.
You also risk customs duty/VAT if it's seized, which'll add about 25% to the cost.
I have no idea what voltages the Canadian grid uses, but if it's 115v, plugging it into the mains with an adaptor here will result in nasty things happening - you'll also need a step-down transformer or an alternative mains cable/transformer.0 -
True Stoo, it said 220 V.
Also while it doesn't affect the game it can play, it does effect multiplayer mode slightly. When doing DS to DS wifi it acts a bit funny if playing with different country consoles and games and such!~Diminutive0 -
will the games even be the same format with an overseas consol?0

I ordered one of these last week and it arrived on monday, they
where doing a bundle of the DS Lite and New Super Mario Brothers which cost £100 including delivery.
I opted for the Airmail option without insurance, the package came stamped "gift" on the customs lable with no value noted. This came through with no customes duty to pay.0
