Im making up my wedding invites on vistaprint and with our surnames it looks to 'wordy' if that makes sense?
Its looks nice and simple and stylish without them.
But is it a requirement to put the surnames on?
Its only a small wedding so people know who we are :rotfl:

Personally, I think the wedding should be about what you want it to be. If I knew the bride and groom then I wouldn't find it strange to not have surnames on the invite, as long as the rest of invite isn't written in a formal style, then it would seem out of place.0

if its only a small wedding i would say no....
i think traditionally the wedding invites are sent from the parents, so it reads something like
Mr and Mrs EA Senior invite you to witness the marriage of their daughter EA and Soon to be EA on the .................. etc etc
although when we got married we eloped, so we just sent everyone a photo text from an NYC starbucks in all our wedding get up, and just wrote TA DA!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
We're hosting the wedding, so i have so far..You are invited to the wedding of
Kylie
&
Felix
Church name
church address
time
Reception to follow at
Reception name
address
Its very informallol.
The church isn't even a church of england church, so we're having a civil ceremony in a memorial church0 -
sounds good to me! I assume you are only inviting people you know, so you won't need surnames anyway. unless people don't know hubby to be's surname and they may want to put that on your cards0
