Borders closing today - 90% off

Stockport closed today. I am really sad about Borders closing, as it was the only nice shop in Stockport!

Manchester - Fort had 90% off today.
Staff i spoke to were so helpful and the queues moved quickly although it was very busy.
I managed to get 13 books, a card and some staples for £8.80 TOTAL!
Amazing value!

Amen to that!!

I loved going in there, although the books were, in my opinion over priced and much cheaper online, it was a lovely shop, which I really enjoyed having a mooch around, then having a coffee in starbucks, then heading down and buying cute stationary from paperchase, and some craft magazines.
The borders staff were always really friendly.

I think the Peel Centre will really lose out.

I was in the one in Brighton today, and there were only basically specialist magazines left. I got a mens health mag for OH for a quid. but a bit disappointed otherwise.

All stores shut today, it was the last day which is why the discounts were so high.

the Edinburgh store had two days to go in the window today. Mind you there was seriously little left. Plus a lot of the actual stands were selling too. Managed to get a couple of mags, winnie pooh stickers and poster for £3.40

went to Team valley tonight.. not a lot left, lots of calanders , but only 30% off ..very little paperchase .. no real known tiltes in books..
they were selliing gateshead borders t-shirts for £2, the shopping baskets for £1 as no carrier bags left .. quite a party atmosphere, but so sad!
