i'm currently on a baby stuff buying cheap mission as i'm pregnant with my first babba
Massive congratulations, when are you due?????
Without sounding daft your find so many people will come round with things for babs, and most people who buy baby grows/vests etc usually always buy new born/first size, so id get 2nd size (3-6mths), 6-12mths).
babies grow so quick in the 1st yr, your going trou 0/3, 3/6, 6/9. 9/12 + you can guarentee at least two of the sizes will cover different seasons.
Nappies even thou they say what eversize, they do tend to be slghtly different, when I had DD I found thats Boots own brand were small sized.
The best thing I brought, and if I do anyone a baby hamper always add two of these
from poundland, there fold up baby changing mats. They are an absolute godsend, I use to keep one downstairs as had posh one on the unit, the other I put in the changing bag, as thou some places do have baby changing units / mats, my thoughts are when where they last washed down?
Another tip (hope you don't me being cheeky) is Argos, the sales for baby items, at the mo there having the xmas sale, th next "biggie"! sale will be when the new catalogue comes out which is around 22nd jan, most of the time on the home page theres a section "clearance section" its yellow with black writing, and unless its a major sale you can narrow down and search your local stores.
Also sign up for everybaby site, pampers, huggies, main supermarkets, mothercare, toys r us.

i've started the process of joining all the clubs but i didn't want to do any of that until i had my scan and then it was the free fall to christmas after that!
loving all the coupons and free samples! :j my dad said i like money saving so much i'm currently 241!
i've already used a load of vouchers i've been given to buy a truck load of nappies in sizes 1 to 5 and wipes (two of them huge ikea bags full!)
i'm trying to get everything as cheap as possible without getting any 2nd hand coz i can't cope with stuff like that coz of my mh probs
we are gonna be moving soon coz we've only got a 1 bed flat, my psychiatrist and GP are supporting us moving to where both sets of parents live for my well being and for the baby too so fingers crossed they'll find us something before they're born, can't apply until after the 20 week scan though
i'm 13 weeks btw0 -
