crazygirl -as sorted out as it can be I think. Seems my bones are like sponge cake and boffin says I have to go to gp and be referred for anything I need through him...........boffin I saw was the fracture chap as I'd had two small factures in the base of the spine
Been to see GP and he's arranging further bone scan in 6 months and sending me to see a bone specialist at different hospital just as a check up.
I'm coping ok (I think.......lol) some days its not so bad and others I get really depressed and think.....'is this it from now on ? wheelchairs and sticks?'..I know it is but hard to come to terms with complete change of lifestyle.
Still, mustn't bore you with all that.
Still need megga motivation and a kick up the butt (gently under the circumstances........lol) to get me doing something............though am ploughing away with making christmas cards..........not many left to do now...............lol:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

crazygirl - whens the next picture coming, I love seeing all your designs

Mary - your doing well, I know its not easy going from being able to do everything to wheelchair, / sticks, it is a complete change of lifestyle, it is something you adapt to, and it does have its advantages, - as DD would say - when we went to Tunisia there was a massive queue at checkin, you were queued back to the doors, - saw a rep, said I'm really sorry can't stand long, next min we're whipped to the front, the airport staff put me in a wheelchair, - from checking in to throu customs etc took us less than 5 mins, - others took 1 to 1 1/2hrs, this bloke who was pushing me left me ready at the deperture gate, - so I got out of the wheelchair, got the crutches, and went into the duty free shop, we had our own "andy and lou moment".
You get there in the end, - some days gd days others bad, - but at christmas dd puts tinsel on the crutches, and shes names them charlie 1 and charlie 2.... xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
