crazygirl - brilliant pressies :T
Not done a lot but did raid the sweet shop yesterday so now have
three ''make it yourself'' snowmen -gravy tubs covered with snowman paper, and filled with marshmallows, choc.matchsticks, flying saucers for hats, chocolate raisins and strawberry string for a red scarf
three chocolate bars covered to look like reindeer -two male one female-female has red shaped lips and done with lighter card........used some little pipe cleaners left over from last year for the antlers
Recipe index box I covered now all varnished and the ''recipe'' letters stuck on it........recipes I printed out all inside
Need to get some pretty paper from the card shop to make a couple of kitchen organisers........maybe do that tomorrow.:)
Oh and have diaries all ready to be covered:)
do you have a picture of the recipe box?A big thank you to all those who post on the forum and make it a worthwhile place!!!:j0 -
Butterfly -sorry I don't have digi camera or anything like that.
It's basically and index card box I picked up from charity shop for about 50p(I think)...covered it with floral paper, printed off recipes and sectioned them into 'soups' meat' fish.desserts and a hints and tips section then put letters to spell out recipes on the front after I'd varnished it to protect the paper
Someone on here......not sure who now.....started one in January doing a recipe for every month.
I've had a look but can't find who did it...........her box was really pretty.
Edit - just found it.........NEGirl..............if you put her name or 'Recipe Index Box' in the search box you should find it. Blow me, name of her blog as gone out my head.....think it was Country Heart and Home..........or something like that.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
