matalan sale

Does anybody know when the Matalan sale starts I know it's usually before christmas and I'm sure it has been mentioned on here but I can't find it.
I'm desperate for shirts I've seen for my DS but when I went to get them the price tag had a mark on it which usually indicates they are sale stock:rolleyes:. I'd go mad if I paid full price only for them to be reduced two days later.

I'm read it too, think it was Xmas eve. Loads of the labels are highlighted (pink highlighter in York) in store ready for the reductions. So at least you can tell what will be in the sale.

I went to Matalan last night, lots of xmas stuff reduced to half price. I too saw a jacket for OH that had a mark on the label and wondered if it was about to be reduced!!

I had better return the boots I bought (and lost the receipt for ) pronto! before I only get half my money back! (in credit)

I went to matalan over the weekend & bought some stuff which had pink mark on them,thought they would go at offer price already, but at the till they all scanned at full price, when checked with the lady serving I was told "pink mark means they go on sale on the boxing day" .

I will return them back if that is the case or would buy the same again in sale prices. Hope this helps.

My sister asked what the pink mark was in a Leeds store and she was told for the sale on Christmas eve..good luck

Was told today by staff after thinking some items had been reduced and they went through at full price sale starts christmas eve
