loans in general
Options
If you wanted to apply for a loan but was not register to vote and you could not get credit because you are not registered to vote.
If you register to vote would you then show up[ on the system at your address and would they be able to show up credit stuff?.
From what i gathered if you are not registered to vote its hard to get credit or loans.
Os if i was to register to vote would i show up on the system to get a credit file?.
Also if i registered to vote what other organisations would have access to my personal data?

You will find it very hard to get credit if you are not on the electoral roll (and actually you are technically required by law to be on it).
Once you register you should appear on the register within 1 month. If you have no previous credit accounts, and therefore no credit history then you need to look at this link on building up your credit rating - http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/credit-rating-credit-score#improve
See this for details of who can see the info http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Governmentcitizensandrights/UKgovernment/Politicalpartiesandelections/DG_073239
but essentially the only people who can see the full register are council/government for elections and credit reference agencies.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
