There is a stigma attached to the second charge loan market.
There were many post on here going back 12 months but they kept being invaded by the holier than thou crowd inferring that we were trying to get our debt wiped out.

The simple fact is that we have had to move our discussions elsewhere (www.firstpluscomplaints.co.uk). We still update on here to keep people in the loop.
In summary - I defy anyone to defend "variable APR" to mean that the variance can treble, in order to sustain the lenders business.
I defy anyone to defend the lenders ability to double the APR with no corresponding increase in the lenders costs.
However some on here feel that that is OK.
So, we battle on with the regulators. Things are ongoing. Hopefully we'll bring this disgrace of a company to task in the near future.0 -
Oh well.
Perhaps our White Knight feels happier pointing us in the right direction to get 50p off of the price of soap powder, thats easier I suppose.
As for ILW, he obviously works for BarclaysFirstPlus or he's just a professional miser!0 -
Btw. Looked though the links you posted Halifax - Not one word from Mr Lewis. Managed to get a few pence off the price of downloads though!!0
