The 2 products linked to effectively make a 19" LCD monitor/TV when combined. Whilst I don't think the OP is in the Steinbeck class as a descriptive orator, I found it pretty easy to understand.

I had the acer 19" above and bought a ext tv tuner and believe me the picture was bad, really bad, plus more wires which you dont want. I would not recommend a ext tv tuner.
