claim form help!!

hi,

i have received a county court claim form and am struggling filling out the right parts.

i want to admit part of the claim. i do owe the company money but the amount stated on the form is aprox £700 too much.

what i want to know is what do i put in the "i admit to the amount of" box. is it the value minus £700. or is it the total amount (value + court and sols fees) minus the £700?

thanks

  • I wouldn't like to say, in my heart i would go with just the amount you owe, so the figure you owe minus £700. And ignore the court+sol fees as i assume they are added after.

10past6 might be able to provide a more definitive answer.

  • thanks for that! that is exactly what i suspected!

its really difficult filling these forms in as they are directed at a person (personal income and expense questions) and i am filling it in on behalf of my limited company. very confusing
