In the last six months I have spent more time on here than I care to admit.

Each and every one of you has become real to me.

I may not agree with everything you type, that isn't really the point.

    I like you all.

Ah, yes, ok, put like that I can agree. :)

    More predictions:

    34. Pastures will get a really good job and we'll all be very pleased for her but secretly miffed that she no longer has time to post.
    35. mr b will have proposed to every female on mse.
    36. chucky will have exhausted all synonyms for stupid to describe those who disagree with him.
    37. mewbie and cleaver will have had a comedy face-off and both will have lost. julieq will win, much to her surprise.
    38. this board will be vastly more popular, as everyone panics about the economy now the Tories are there and are cutting jobs/raising interest rates like it's 1992.

    38. Some return on savings! now that would be nice. My goodness. What we would earn on savings , had we had any in 1992 would now be like another wage coming in. I`m pretty honest when I post here and will admit that if this daft no interest keeps up I might have to do something else.

The stock market is a very dodgy place to be. Only have to look at our pensions and stuff. Keep looking around and trying to see a bit of return but not great.

Then, oh dear, said to Mrs. P, perhaps we should get the money and buy a couple of flats to let. Mrs.P was not amused! But heck, even 5% would get us a enough what with retirement looming in a few years.

Oh well, we don`t see official retirement age as the watershed and we fully hope to keep doing work, if only part time. Could see Mrs. P killing me if she had me around all day. Even though I have tons of interests, I would still miss " doing a deal " or fixing a computer.

It is probably just me but my definition of family is people you want to murder ninety percent of the time and hug for the remaining ten percent.

That seems to include just about everyone on this board:cool:
