Barclays grrrr

Dear Sir,
Thank you for your bulk standard reply letter, I must say I was touched by amount of time it must have taken for you to put a cross in the appropriate ( to your mind) box and send it back. It gave me a warm glow inside to think that someone had actually taken the time to send such a personal response.

And as I know you meant to enquire about my health and simply forgot in your busy box ticking schedule, yes, I am still suffering extreme levels of stress due to this situation. Oh and by the way, thank you for continuing to phone me 3-5 times a day, even though I really did ask you not to. And as for your letters, well they’re really helping too, festive red, lovely!

As you advised I did contact a debt charity, and they said, and let me just give you the gist of what was said, you’re a bunch of total !!!!!!s. Turns out you CANNOT refuse my payment offer, because its over the minimum of £1 a month, the nice lady suggested I just send you the money anyway, and keep doing so until you work out your !!!! from your elbow.

Much as I would simply love to clear the overdraft, close my account and never deal with your happy smiling faces again, this is not possible, unless of course I rob a bank, and seeing as you’ve been robbing me for years, this is a most tempting idea.

Oh and might I just add a huge thank you to you and your colleagues for adding a Reserve Service to my account which I didn’t ask for or want and as my banking record pre this wonderful service will attest didn’t really need. Just a couple of £22 charges and you had my tight financial budget ruined you cheeky scamps, enjoy my £900 try not to spend it all at once in someone’s bonus package. When you took an entire weeks worth of my money that I need to live on it must have been a right giggle. Just so you know that was also the day I opened a bank account elsewhere and stopped getting any money paid into or out of your bank.

Well I look forward to paying you even more money and as you’ve declined to comment on my request to freeze my interest charges, I assume this will be for a very long time to come.
Yours as insincerely as I can possibly manage,

Barclays Cash Cow

love it. Couldn't have said it better myself. But to HSBC in my case. Your love for Barclays sounds almost as indescribable as mine for HSBC

you are all wrong, banks and lawyers are the very salt of the earth!

Seriousy though, looking past the sarcasm, there are hugely valid points that sum up how most of us feel.

    Very clever and very funny.

I am sorry I don't have anything useful to say which may help you but I must say it is a really funny post. However, looking beyond the humor something must be done so that these banks stop exploiting vulnerable people!!

Good luck and I hope things work out for!!
