Cash Gernie says the can deduct direct from my wages! Help!!

I am currently negotiating with my creditors to get them to accept a reduced payement. After contacting them they have said my payement isnt satisfactory enough (although its all i can afford) they said that the can contact my employer and arrange for the debt to be deducted directly from wages!!! Is this possible? Anybody…

Don't worry, they can't take it from your wages and they can't tell your employer. If they did tell the employer you could seek damages/compensation.

The worst they can do is get a CCJ taken out, which will just make you pay what you can afford anyway so long as you turn up to defend it. Realistically paying off debts might make you have a CCJ, nothing you can really do about it if you can't afford to pay it off as the contract states.
