problems with zavvi and i cant seem to contact them

i ordered batman arkham asylem on the 7th of december, on the 12th of december they sent me a email saying they had duplicated the order and to send it back when it got here.

i checked my bank and they had charged me twice, so i sent them a message through their help ticket system and the auto responce said they would contact me within 2 working days.

i sent them another message on the 16th saying i had not recieved the games yet and asking why they havent responded within the 2 working days as stated

now its the 21st and i have sent them another message and still have had no reply for any of the tickets, i have also tried calling them several time andjust get to pay for listening to their crappy hold music and i never ever get through and hang up after about 30-40 mins.

does anyone know any direct numbers or email addresses that they actually repond to, because getting charged for a game twice and not even recieving it after 2 weeks is beyond a joke.

I ordered a game of the 7th December and also got charged twice for it and emailed them straight away through the help ticket. A couple of days later they apologised and have since refunded the second amount and also sent me a 10% voucher code. I don't know any other way of contacting them sorry but sounds like they must have been charging customers twice for all orders on that day then. Wonder if any other people have noticed
  • i can understand them making a mistake but ignoring me for 2 weeks is just very bad service

how can you charge someone twice for a game and not even listen to them when they dont even get it

on a side note i read somewhere about a company that was duplicating orders on perpose so the money could sit in their accounts gaining interest until the customers returned them

  • This same thing happened to me, I emailed them telling them I hadn't recieved the duplicated item and could they refund me the money, and I got a very short and unhelpful response telling me that I would only be refunded once I returned the duplicated item...which I haven't recieved...
I've since sent them 2 follow up emails and had no reply, and I also tried calling them but was left on hold for AGES.

I am having a problem with crazy tiger too.Ordered a cd at the beginning of December and it was supposedly despatched on the 8th.Still not received it,emailed 3 times and had one short reply that you should allow 7 to 14 working days! It was to be a xmas present.
I have now asked for a refund but i doubt i will be so lucky as to get one.How do you prove you never received the item if there is no signing for it?
  • I'm not too sure actually, it would be best to write to them and see what they say, and if they refuse to refund it then tell them you'll seek advice from Consumer Direct with what is best to do.

Consumer Direct won't be much use. Zavvi are based in the Channel Islands and therefore don't come under UK law. Crazy Tiger are based in Hong Kong so the same applies there.

Well, surprise surprise i have had an email from them overnight, they have now become Bang CD!! proves they are all one and the same company.

If they mean what they say, they will process a refund as the cd hasn't arrived,or send a replacement.I had to laugh when they said they couldn't guarantee the replacement in time for xmas  no,seeing as it's now xmas eve, probably not :rotfl:
