  • I've just dropped in another £2 which brings me up to £11. I have to mark it off the calendar or I would never know where I was. This is the longest I have ever stuck to a challenge but I think it will get more difficult for me near then end of the month.

The calendar thing sounds a good plan. I will put a tick in my diary when I have done that day. I have £11 in there at the moment I think.

Had to do a shop today so had £4.50 to put in tin. So now have over £15. Whoopee! Then again i may well not be able to put in anything else till friday.
Which in real terms will meen i'll be 50p down so will have to rectify this.
Oh how sad i'm getting with this and other threads.
But i'l think positive and look towards all the money i've saved, not spent and cut down on.
    Good luck to everyone.

    Hi mineallmine,

I'm going to give mine to my sister.

I'm hoping she will pass her driving test in the next couple of months so I'm sure the money will come in handy .... or i might just spend it all in the sales lol

I am so out of the habit of spending money, I simply couldn't begin to even imagine what I would spend it on. I've forgotten how to buy clothes and shoes to the point where I don't even know what suits me any more. And as for luxuries, I'm beginning to think they don't apply to me! I need help guys! Any inspiration gladly received.

I've been thinking about this. I would really really like a new 3 piece suite a nice leather one. Now i no the £365 wont be enough to pay for that but you never no i might come in to a small fortune. Though come to think about it since i've been using this site i never never spend money on anything i dont have to, like lottery tickets etc.
But with the money i'm saving everywhere i may well be able to just save the money i need. Good luck everyone i hope you all achieve what you set out to achieve.
