Put another £2 in today now got £10 :j a bit ahead because there will days especially before pay day when I might not be able to put in £1 everyday.

Paperwork come through today for our new joint online account. I am that determined to save I trudged through the snow to get to the bank just so I could send post the application form back today with a cheque to get the account opened

We are going to try and save a little each month by standing order. I'm still going to keep going with this challenge. My OH thinks I'm mad keep checking dates off my tin but I keep telling him, it might be only a £1 a day but when we are debt free it will be £10 a day we will be saving

Hi can you add me to this too, I think I will do it online as then it can go straight in our isa, and I never have change on me, and if I do it 1,2,5, & 10ps for the change pot and £2 for the £2 pot!

I've decided that as I don't always have £1 spare to pop in a tin I am going to transfer across to my savings account every day as others have done so thats £6 transferred across today. Healthiest looking account i have :rotfl:

is anyone on here a mod or friends with one who could either extend my word limit or add me in a box between 1st and 2nd post (if this is possible??). we are getting so many people joining i am running out of space (keep getting the charactor count warning)

I'm sure that would need Admin powers at the very least... also pretty sure it's not possible to add in another box and would be a nightmare changing one individual word limit.

If the worst comes to the worst, ask for this thread to be locked and start a new one... make the opening post (copy and paste the original from here) and then immediately make a second (or third) post containing something like: "overspill post - please ignore but do not delete - contact OP before deleting"
