Confused about payments

Hello all,
Having just recently bumped up our payments towards arrears we have noticed on the statement that the amount they say we paid is different to the amount that went out of the bank (standing order). Now it's only a few pound difference so no major problem it's just confused us:o
CSA said to pay £157. and pence, we set up the standing order for £160 (thinking it would be easier to round it up) and the CSA statement shows we paid £158.
Have we confused the system or is there some sort of admin charge now?
Thanks

Have you called them and asked them? What did they say? When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0

In future, I really would pay the exact amount they have requested to the penny. You're likely to bring the whole CSA system crashing to its knees, otherwise!!!!!!!!!Donedoingdebt Lightbulb moment January 2000. Debt at highest approx £102,000. Debt now (October 2009 - absolutely fork all!!!)

No not phoned and asked yet as whenever we do ring them about things we get different answers from different people

Will get OH to change his standing order asap I think. I'ts a strange system if it can't cope with overpayments:rotfl:Good Enough Club member number 20
