Wild Hibiscus flowers in syrup hunt...

Hi all,
I'm wanting to get some Wild Hibiscus Flowers, to jazz up some glasses of fizz this Christmas.
You pop one in a champagne flute, and add either champagne, cava (I'm told it even works with fizzy water!) and these flowers open up when coaxed to by the bubbles. And they're edible after you've finished your drink! I wanted to get some, to distract from the fact it's not a bottle of champagne this year!
However I have no idea where to get them from! Any ideas?

They sell them in Lakeland. Not cheap though, so probably will bump the cost of your cava up to that of champers. £6.99 for 11 flowers.0

Hi
I have seen (and purchased!) them in Lakeland a couple of years ago but can't say whether they will have them this year or not. Might be worth a try though!

I see you are in Sheffield, so go down to a local West Indian shop as this is where you will find them. They are dried in bags and dont cost too much, they are known as 'sorrel' and used for making tea or cold drinks.
I have found them in Asda before, but that was a while ago, and my local Asda has quite a good 'foods of the world' section.
This is not the same as the sorrel that we know in the UK.
