I am considering taking a loan out with these they said they need a payment up front for setting this loan up i am not so sure anyone know this company are they legit.

any company that ask for ££ up front is probably a scam,they are usually brokers who promise to get you a loan the fail,they usually charge around £49 which will be almost impossible to get back when you realise they cant get you a loan,there are 100`s of post on here about such companies,just have a good read of them

Yes Loans are a particularly bad one, there are loads of posts about them on here. Steer well clear
