Help! Curtain assistance required!

I have moved into my new house and need curtains for my bedroom and living room. Both have large L shape bay windows - The total length of window is a massive 142" and I'd need a 90" drop.
I can't find ready mades and have just got an online quote for £300 for just one pair of made to measure! I have two of these windows so wondered if any lovely people out there have any bay-window-curtain-buying advice??! I also need 2 curtain poles to fit these bays.
Is it bad that I spent 2 years working in a curtain shop and still need to ask advice?!!

I would probably use more than one pair of curtains, I don`t think they would look odd either when open or drawn. I really like the eyelet headings that are fashionable now, they hang really well and I think they`d be fairly easy to join your curtains if you chose to (ALTHOUGH I DON`T THINK IT IS ESSENTIAL TO DO THAT) SORRY FOR caps...ds nagging
Terrysfabrics.co.uk is good for ready mades.0
