Cheapest Fresh Turkey Crowns

Somerfield Stores are selling Fresh Turkey Crowns at £5 per kilo,all the other supermarkets seem to have the same price of £6.99 per kilo,so that's a big saving. :j

  • If you have a friend that works for us (somerfield) its worth getting them to buy it because double staff discount started today running for two weeks. This means 20% off as well!

    For the last couple of years iv been buying my large fressh turleys from there for £12, i was holding out for the same offer this year also. But i doubt it will happen as its getting ever closer to Christmas day.

    Does anyone here who works there, or know anyone who works there, know if this offer will be on?

    we got ours from co-op today £4.5 a kg so cheaper still

    I don't work there but I was in my nearest store this morning,

    FRESH WHOLE TURKEYS - £3 a kg

    The ones I saw were about 5kg ish - £16 ish


    As for CROWNS - don't know if the offer is still on but we bought one from MAKRO a few weeks ago - JUST £2.99 a kilo - Hence why we got it and put it in the freezer :)

    Had one from there before and it was excellent quality, texture and flavour :)

  • Sainsburys are doing their fresh turkey crowns for £7.29 per kilo, Asda are selling at £6.99 a kilo.
  • Keep your eye on those 'Sell By' dates , theres nothing worse than a rotten gut over Christmas !
