Camcorder needed (with firewire!)

hi all
I'm looking to buy a camcorder for my course (mature student!) and will be trying stop motion animation (we also do other type of video so it will come in handy for other assignments).
I've worked in photography for years so I'm fine with SLR's etc but with camcorders I'm clueless!!
this one looked good but I don't think it has firewire! it's never clear!
http://www.amazon.co.uk/JVC-GZ-MG630A-Camcorder-microSD-Minolta/dp/tech-data/B001SEQS9Y/ref=de_a_smtd
I'll be using software called istopmotion
it seems that miniDV has firewire:

does anyone know anything about camcorders and firewire etc.
what sort of specs do I need to look up - I don't want to end up with some pixellated tiny movie - I have access to final cut pro and an old version of after effects too.
I can just afford £200 ish (not sure if these camcorders will get cheaper in the sales... but fingers crossed
)
thanks for any help or suggestions.

I work for a video production company, but we tend to use camcorders £5,000+ so it's hard to recommend a £200 camcorder.
But, I've had a quick look for you, I like Panasonic as a manufacturer for miniDV cameras. Have a look at this one it's miniDV with firewire out.0 -

If you look in the product page for iStopmotion you'll see that there are a few firewire camcorders listed as compatible. FWIW I use a Canon MD110 and my earlier Sony worked well too.0 -
my daughter has looked at the camcorder you looked at:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/JVC-GZ-MG630.../ref=de_a_smtd
she thought it looked quite good too! did you buy it, and if so, what do you think of it so far?
