Surely your friend will get into trouble if you used his discount card? Nothing stopping him purchasing it for you though I wouldn't of thought... or maybe I am wrong..#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

You could give him the money so he could buy it for you as a present? Not strictly honest though.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

Your friend would need to check the conditions on him using his discount and if he can allow others to use his card. I know somewhere I used to work did not allow this only staff member and their spouse or if no spouse a parent.TOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T0 -
I used to work for Tesco, and the card must be used by the named person. When they first received the card they got to choose which name it went into, as long as it was either their name or a member of their family.
the only way you'll get discount is if you give the £££ to your friend and he/she physically buys it. There wa a thread on here last week about the same thing.
quite a long thread but the assistant had to go to a disciplinary and was expecting to lose his job so really i wouldnt put him in that position.
But like others say, theres no reason why he cant buy it for you.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
thanks to everyone for your thoughts.will leave it and just buy it myself.worth a try,though0
