in Cutting tax
I have a maisonette that I used to live in but now rent out as it is too small for my family. I complete my tax return for last year no probs but this year I have exteneded the lease (it was reaching 60 years) and it has cost me nearly £10000
Im pretty sure I cant claim relief against the actual cost of the lease but wondered if I could claim against the cost of the legal fees for myslef and the freeholders (as i have had to pay both)
Wonder if anyone can help??
