moonpigwhateveryoucallit have 'realised' me

I have finally received my 'welcome' letter from Moonpig people and the letter was inaccurate and confusing.

They stated my IPA began November 09 (?) and it gave me all the info to set up S/O.

What made me chuckle after the initial head scratching was they mentioned it was permissable to pay by cheque........er, hello? Me BR you Jane?

anyway, I rang them and it is now starting Dec 30th.

Sometimes I wish I wasn't BR. I have been feeling so inadequate lately. I had to send a postal order to the court for my decree absolute, have to make a big song and dance getting the kids out of the car to pay for the petrol now.

I know it's a small price to pay and of course my life is all the better for it.

I think what rankles the most is that I only became insolvent because my exhb decided the mortgage life wasn't for him anymore. I have outstanding credit but was servicing my debt just fine until he took his ball home and left me to get on with it.

I love my new life, my home, and I'm happier than I have been in a long time.

I sound contridictory I know, but the truth is I don't know how I am supposed to be feeling about it all.

I just feel older lately, and yet when I look back at the aspirations everyone including myself had for me, it couldn't be further from reality.

Sorry to vent, tis the season and all that I know....:(

Its just the BR rollercoaster you're on, you'll get ups and downs especially as its still new. You'll be feeling better with each day.

i know it hard but keep you chin up
times are difficult for a lot of people. I'm still with my OH but sometimes I don't know why, I packed my bags at easter but didn't go. Then by July we had started saving for BR. I am now BR and he still I want I want I want, I dont know if I have done the right thing staying, he is going BR in the new year but its muggings her to sort it all for him, and none of the debts are his fault YEAH RIGHT

I'm just keeping my head high and I dont care when people are saying about me behind my back, infact if they are talking about me they are leaving some other poor sod alone.

Things will get better I promise

    take care

Hey hun, you know exactly what up and down emotions I have. It really is so true that one day you're fine another you're not.. maybe even as fickle as hourly. The times when your feeling sh*tty about BR do come less frequent as time goes on. Keep venting, cristmas or not. It'll be my turn tomorrow doll, don't worry x

It is quite a surreal feeling isn`t it? One minute you are up then you are down. Hopefully you can enjoy Christmas and welcome the New Year in debt free...

Thanks everyone, strangely enough I seem to snap out of it but then back in. I'm cross today too because I spent the whole morning putting together a flat pack stand for my tv (early xmas pressie) and when it came to stacking the shelves it collapsed and the screw caps broke:mad:

I was so annoyed I couldn't even be bothered to walk up the high st to the hardware store and hunt some new ones down.

It doesn't take much to get me rattled these days grrr.

Then when I finally did decide to go out I slipped in the road walking to the car. I went [STRIKE]flying[/STRIKE]skating down the street and smashed my head on the pavement, my glasses flew off my face and I was lying in the middle of the road:eek:

I couldn't tell if I was still alive, but then realised I just couldn't see because I was no longer wearing my glasses.

So, that was that. The next thing I knew I was surrounded by 2 of my neighbours and I could hear DD shouting for help from a distance.....

And you know the first thing I thought of?

I'm lying on my a*se in the middle of the street-how did it all come to this?

It takes a feather's weight to set me off these days
