first cccs steps - i made the call!

Phew, just made my initial call to CCCS - have spent the last couple of weeks trying to find a way round it, contacting loan providers to try and reschdule my loans etc, but they were mainly pretty unhelpful (i wasn't trying to borrow more money, just extend the terms of my loans, but they didn't want to know!) I was pretty nervous phoning CCCS, butterflies in my stomach, an it felt like admitting to being a money failure, but the guy i spoke to was lovely, and my big phone call is scheduled for 12th July. I feel like a weight is lifting already. I am hoping for a DMP, so that i can clear my debts, and never have so called credit again. Maybe if they called them debt cards, i wouldn't have fallen for it!! I have about 20000 of unsecured debt and i have learned a hard lesson, but at least i have learned it.

:j :T well done Im with CCCS and they are great you are on the right track
  • You also now know that you are not the only one. There are 1000's of people out there in the same boat including me. The best of it is these people still send junk mail offering loans and credit cards. You would think they would have learnt by now!! Breathe easier now!
