I have a total of *checks calculator* £5220 in credit cards, loan and overdraft. I am starting today! Just put a lot of stuff on eBay to help with this! *crosses fingers*.
I was doing really well this time last year, I had my cc at £0, all my overdraft unused, a bit of savings and a £3k loan I used to pay for my MA. I could not work as much since I was a full time student (went back to Uni in my 30s!) and then the spending went out of control when I got married. I just wanted that pretty dress, those pretty shoes, etc. We (OH and I) have paid for the whole lot and even though we managed to keep it under £6k (the whole thing, honeymoon included), I soon realized I could not pay for my half of it. I did not want my OH to pay for my dress or anything, so I used ccs. I wanted a pretty day and I spent too much on it. Even though I am working now, the debts have piled because I was unable to pay for cc whilst paying for the other stuff, and now I have almost doubled the debt I had this time last year. My aim is to clear cc this year, loan and overdraft by July.Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

I don't like CC companies, they will insist on adding interest every month :rotfl:, so my percentage paid has dropped a little bit BUT I should be able to start seriously debt busting before too much longer!

Thanks!!
If everything goes as planned, I might be able to pay £100-£150 this month. I cannot wait to have my money in the account to transfer it and see the whole thing reduce!!Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

Oooh! I went to paypal to see if I had any pennies there and I found out I had £11 from survey sites!!
I will wait for all my eBay items (~30) to sell before transfering the whole amount to my account, discount p&p and then pay the rest into the cc!
Yaaaay!! It made my day! I also accepted a mystery shopping for £10 and another one for £1.50 . I am accepting any work that comes my way, so I really hope that the 1st of February I will: a) Leave the ovedraft, b) pay my share of rent and bills, c) put away the budget for food for the month and d) pay off up to £150 from my debt!!
A couple of agencies owe me money from December, so receiving it now should help to the total.
