I don't suppose anyone has a spare set of makeup brushes from the sale? Don't mind what make. Can trade for r+m handbag mirror, no 7 flower handbag mirror or the small gok sets. Or paypal of course.
Many thanks
Don't know if this helps, but you can use the current No7 voucher on the No7 range of brushes, they start at 75p with the voucher.0 -

Hi folks,
Just wanted to report back on my findings today.
I went to Derby/Westfield Boots and then to Loughborough. Its amazing how different stores can be so its always best to try a few.
As far as the sales go - Not much to report but there were some items left.
*Wrapping paper
*Survival Kits
*Simpsons piggy bank
*Chocolate Slabs
*Photo unfoldable small wallets
*Tags
*Stripey mugs
That was pretty much it! But both stores had different things. There were lots of items in their own parts if the store, like ELC, that still had those green christmas present small stickers on, which WERE the 3 for 2's, but they came up as normal price and had the prices removed on the shelves so were obviously newly re-priced back upto full price.
However, reporting on the No7 vouchers - as that is why i went in today!

I had 6 vouchers.
I used 5 firstly to get No7 nail varnishes which were £1.25 each after the £5 discount. I like quite bright querky colours.
Then, i had to buy some Urban Decay makeup with my gift cards so when i paid for those i was given another voucher.
With those 2 vouchers i found the Ruby and Millie section (in big stores only!)
There were 2 lovely small cosmetics bags left (in picture) priced at £8! So, got those for £3!! They are REALLY nice quality and have a lanyard attached you can take off and use for your keys.
You must also look in the section with the brushes as there are loads of nice Ruby and Millie things there. Youll find these in all stores. You can buy singular brushes, eyelashes, curlers, etc.
I purchased the sponges (2 sets), like you can see in the picture! They were £6, but with discount just £1 a pack.
Lastly, to get the extra voucher for the above, i was lucky enough to find those limited edition Essentials No7 eyeshadow palettes! They were reduced to £7 form £14. As Boots has a 3 for 2 also on No7 i purchased 3 of those, totalling £14 for all 3!
All in all, an excellent day.
2 x Ruby Purses = £6 total
3 x No7 Ltd Ed Palettes = £14 total
2 x Ruby and Millie Sponge packs = £2 total
5 x No7 Nail Varnishes @ £1.25 each = £6.25 ( same price as ONE full priced!)
Total = £28.25
(plus i had points collected)
Dont forget the Vouchers run out on the 31st! It is definately worth gathering a batch and trying to go in 2 stores at least to check the different stock.
Ebay sellers sell them for a pound or 2 as minimum spend is £5 to get a voucher.
Loads of good offers tho, Barry M are still doing 'Spend £6 get a FREE bubblegum pink lipgloss'.
There are also No7 electrical goods, not JUST make up!
Thanks for listening to me blab on like a Boots obsessive.

What did we decide the rules are regarding ordering online at full price, then taking to store saying 'ohh, there must have been a mistake, I thought these were 75% off?' returning & buying again? Something I want has popped back in my wishlist. Nice opinions would be appreciated!I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0

It was lovely to read about your successful shopping trip Lisa! Boots near me had a limited edition eyeshadow set marked clearance £6.50 but SA would not let me use £5 voucher against it. And I couldnt justify spend after the sale!0

Oooh, on the last page of this thread (i think) i've written a piece about Boots.com selling the Opulence sets for £6.50 which are under the 3 for 2 offer, making them about £4.20 each!

Yes it was that one, I had read earlier but didnt make the connection. I wonder if they would be on 342 instore if marked clearance, they had quite a few. I may try again when the No7 till is not being manned and go to main checkout. I had only gone to this particular store to check out left over sale stock. My nearest Boots had none. Would have like just the one for £1.50 for me as have sorted all my gifts in sale!!0 -
i know some stores have bits left, so will there be a 90% sale for these0

They will be 3 for 2 yes!
Because the 3 reduced palettes i bought were still 3 for 2!
I find that sometimes different SA's let you use vouchers etc, and some dont.
I had 2 different answers to the same query today! So, its always worth a try.:AQuidcoCodes

Just a quick thought. Does anyone think Boots are not complying with Trading Standards rules and regs by selling an item in store at 75% off but selling it online for the full price.0
