an update for you all - just called customer services and the whole site is down, they told me my order will probably be lost - got to checkout stage but couldn't proceed past payment.

I was going to place my online order for toys then go instore for beauty things, think I may just be a grump now and boycott them!!
Its not like it was a surprise, they knew about this thread, they surely anticipated the site traffic. Now fair enough we cant all get on at once of course but you die harders have been going all night and still nothing. I got up at 7.15 and been f5ing constantly and have got to secure payment page (well now its the orange people). I remember last year lots of us were saying boots need to sort it out, obviously nothing has been done!

i'm gutted, i only really wanted the s&g hatbox for my sis. not surprised they're all gone for £12.50 tho. this has really put me off using boots again- didnt they learn anything about the website crashing at xmas?

got to Edinburgh East End, the nice chap at the till had said they have quite a bit of xmas stock left as it is a small store... couple of gok sets, other body sets and smellies but nothing really of interest. will try st james centre or north bridge to see if i can pick up any more bargains.

still trying to decide if to go to store 4miles from me, got a cold,temperature, sore throat feelin yak! but its the only day my son goes to playschool for 4 hours! i know if i come home i'll only be thinking of it! What we put ourselves through for a bargain!.
