Ooh how lovely to find a Boots thread again! :jI haven't been bootsing since the last thread closed and I started full time work so time has been scarce! I am trying to resist buying anything at 50% as the 75% sale is sooo good.
If I remember from previous years - the 75% sale always starts on a Wednesday. Which would make it the 13th. Personally I would prefer it to be the 14th as I have the day off work to take my son for a hospital appointment so I would have time to go first thing! Otherwise if it is the 13th my hubbie will have to go before work and pick anything up he thinks I would have bought, which I know will mean I only get half of what I normally would!
There's a skinny woman inside me screaming to be let out. A cookie soon shuts her up!!! :rotfl:0 -
Wednesdays is my day off so thats good news for me. We reckon definitely the 13th?0

It's impossible to say definitely, but it seems like a good bet. If you've got to go to a lot of trouble to get to Boots, maybe check online before you pop out? I'm sure someone will report back if the 75% sale has started. Also, if you see that the sale has started on boots.com (or that the Web site has crashed from high traffic, lol) that's also a good sign you'll find the sale in store. It will usually start online the evening/early morning before it starts in store.0 -

I ordered Christmas Eve and it said the goods would be instore on 6th Jan. My account is still showing 'being processed'. Having never sent anything to store before, is there a chance it would be there earlier, like the deliveries are being sent out earlier?
Thanks guys0 -
Hi. Don't know if its any help but the dates of the 75% off sale instore for the last 3 years are.
Monday 15th Jan 2007
Tuesday 15th Jan 2008
Wednesday 14th Jan 2009
Can't believe I actually kept this info, but these are the first days that my local store had 75% off and think they all start the same day.
Think online is the same day too, however after last years problems with the site who knows!!0 -

I also ordered a single item to be delivered in store and I haven't heard that has been disptached.I don't think they get sent out earlier but it isn't impossible I guess. I assume store deliveries would be quite busy at the mo.0 -
