  • I have been to my local Boots Fareham, Hants) this afternoon to get some vitamins (and 200 points:j ). There were 2 big trollies with lots of brown boxes next to the shelves. I hope those were sets for 75% sale because if it was just usual stock the trollies would have been downstairs ( the christmas gifts and clothes are upstairs with digital photos service). Some boxes were open and I could see Botanics & fcuk sets. No one was unpacking them and putting on the shelves (yet!!) Makes me think if sale is def tomorrow! My OH thinks I am being paranoid with Boots sale.:D

Someone was asking about stock in Maidenhead, sorry couldn't find the post. I don't know abouth the stock but heard on news today that it's going to be heavy snow in Maidenhead area and M4 might be affected by this.

Hi GF, Sorry I had to rush off before I got a chance to explain what I meant: I just get annoyed at the people who say 'My sister/mate/husband knows someone at Boots HQ who said the sale absolutely, definitely, swear-on-their-mother's-life, bet-you-a-grand, totally starts tomorrow'. I just don't believe it. If they had genuinely been told as a fact, they would come back on here the next day (after it hadn't actually started) and say 'oops, sorry about that - I got it wrong'. But nothing more is mentioned about it.
Although it's no biggie in the grand scheme of things :) .......

Oh sorry didnt explain myself properly.... I agree with u! But I just didnt want to look like I was accusing the poster as there have been a few over the past week. Annoys me too! hahaha

Sorry its me again about delivery, anyone know how long it usually takes? Goin on hol thurs for a week and dont know if to put my friends address?

And sorry to boots women (if you are genuine) for calling you a troll too but you have to understand us women live for the boots sale and I have been so good this year and only bought 4 items in other sales!:A

Deliveries usually come quickly, often within a few days.. I would either send it to a friend's house, or set it for delivery to your local store (they will hold it two weeks for you).

Ok I know you are fed up BUT was in Boots today and to explain we live in a backwater town..our boots has two shelves of Christmas stock..thats it..so the assistants know we travel and said to me...are you off on the train tomorrow? and then said to get your bargains...so I said Diane are you saying its 75% tomorrow and she said no whilst smiling and nodding her head....she has never lied to me yet and I have since had someone else phone whose cousin works in boots to confirm its tomorrow!!!!
I wished upon a star tonight that I would see you once more,
To hold you in my arms and tell you how much I love you,
To hear your voice, to kiss your cheek oh for just one more time,
But all I have are memories and a heart full of love and tears.

Can I buy today and tomorrow return and rebuy at the lower price? If so, I'm off to boots NOW......................................................

Sorry to ask a dumb question but is the Boots in the Bullring? Am in Uni in the afternoon but might be tempted to pop in. (When i've found it!)

    TIA

Not sure if someone has answered this for you already. There is a store in the Bullring, first floor by Debehams side.

I think the one they may be referring to is the one by Corporation street, where the Bus 33 runs by. If you walk outside the Bullring todays WHSmith carry on down that road and Boot is slightly opp M&S.

    Good luck!

If you put stuff in your basket online now will it automatically go to 75% off when the sale goes live, or will it still show at 50% off because thats what it was when it was put in there (if that makes sense!)

Sometimes it does, sometimes you have to take it all out and put it back in at the reduced price.

Oh No! so pointless going there in the morning then?

I would take that report about it already starting in Milton Keynes with a grain of salt. Give the store a call if you're anxious.
