  • Hey I'm from Lowestoft :D and I was a Bootser, not so much now as my house is overflowing with smellies etc, but can't resist the 75% sale. Have they updated the poster in the window yet as they normally announce when it starts, but haven't been in town this week to have a look.

No, there is a sign saying "50% to continue further due to dverse weather condition". Am soo excited, can't wait! Will be there at 8:30 for opening! I will be the one taking up the entire aisle with the double buggy!

Is there anything in particular you were looking for?
They have No7 ultimate collection, Gok big sets, Chilli Pepper bags, FCUK make-up bag with lip glosses, some Elle stuff, the mini perfumes boxes, fair bit of food/drink gifts, mens gifts etc. There were 3 full aisles of xmas stock, plus the back wall, still at the weekend.

I didn't see any hair stuff though.

Thanks. No 7 ultimate set would be nice for my sisters birthday at the weekend :)

Will the double buggy have children in it or is it just somewhere to stash your hoard? lol... I'll be there too, I waited at the side entrance last year, but think i'll wait at the front this time. It had better be on as I'm supposed to be on study leave! Possibly see you tomorrow :D

Can anyone who has the Fairtrade Hamper (the one with two mugs, tea, honey, etc, currently selling for 12.50) tell me what the "use by" date is, and if the packaging looks Christmasy or not? Basically, I want to know if this would do to give to someone later this year, but not for a Christmas gift. tia :)

Do you mean the Weekend Away Set which comes in a bright pink/purple vanity case? If you do these were £35 originally. I am after two of these for my two nieces. They are not in stock online though. The ones which are are the ones which were OOW which come in a purple box.

Does anyone know if any of the gift sets sold in Boots are vegan friendly? Would like to get my vegan friend something nice!

    Hi Vicster.

I am vegan and saw a "Goodworks" aromatherapy gift set in my local Boots that looked vegan.
Their products are definately not animal tested, but you might want to check the ingredients as some companies sneak in lanolin, honey etc that would make it not vegan.
    Their website is here: http://www.goodworksaromatherapy.com/

I didnt have time to read the ingredients, but will have a look tomorrow.

The Goodworks travel companion gift set was in a shiney red wash bag. Think it has a scrub, shower gel etc and full price was £16 so should be £4??
    Good luck,
    MM x

I ordered one of these that arrived yesterday. Really nice for the money with great products (although a mug was cracked so need to refund or return or put up with only 1 mug)
The use by dates are mostly June 2010, Biscuits were March 2010. The tea is loose leaf tea not tea bags and the coffee is for a cafetierre
