We found the ToysRUs cotbeds a bit flimsy. I personally don't like this cot bed but the Mamas and Papas ones were very solid.
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p
  • Thanks for this - have ordered. For anyones info, I have found a fully sprung mattress to fit:

    For £41.99

I bought a M&P cotbed 13 years ago for my 1st child. Three children later it still looks good and is as solid as ever. It's the best baby buy I ever made; if the quality is still the same I'd highly recommend the brand :)

Thought better report back seeing as i first posted!

Well today it arrived even though wasnt expecting it til tomorrow as it said 4 working days and only took 3!

Anyway am thoroughly pleased with the purchase it is more lovely than the picture, it has a sort of swirl design on both of the ends and looks a lot more sturdy than in the picture. Cant wait to get bumpers, etc now! Glad some of you found this to be some use.

Also as side note the cotbed will take the mattress size 140cm x 70cm as this is what we brought.
I know the cot states a slightly bigger size of 144cm x 76cm on the website but after a measure up I realised this is the external size not the size of the internal bit where the mattress goes so the 140cm x 70cm will fit (size 400 on mamas and papas website - they do a foam one for £40) and so does the 139cm x 69cm one.
