Milk of Magnesia - face mask ........

i have brought myself a bottle of Milk of Magnesia (as im sure i didnt imagine it when i read that it is good for your skin?!) I am going to brave it on fri nite - do you just slap it on and leave it?
for how long?

how often do you do it too?

im quite scared!!!! my mother looked at me very oddly when i explained to her what i was going to do with it!!!! ha ha

    I put it on my nose, chin and forehead 2-3 times a week, normally while I'm brushing my teeth in the morning before I have a shower! I only leave it on for those few mins and it works fine but you could leave it on until it dries. It's not really scary as it's not as thick as normal face masks but if you're worried, try putting a little dab on your wrist first to make sure you don't have a reaction to it.

    I only leave mine on for 10-15 minutes max. - it goes on thinly and dries quite quickly, and then it can start to flake off.

    That reminds me - I haven't seen mine in a while and was looking for it the other day. I'm sure I've put it somewhere emminently sensible, which is why I can't find it :rotfl:

    Even better! My boyf has got a terrible mouth ulcer at the mo and it's really giving him gyp. The things I learn from MSE!!! :D

  • I don't think I'll be able to stand it, I was always being fed the damn stuff - I'm sure it was just thinned paint!
