Anyone have any suggestions for venues for afternoon tea in Manchester? I know of the old Midland hotel (think it goes by a new name now) but that's it. All suggestions welcome - thanks

            Lowry Hotel
 Radisson Hotel
 and
Harvey Nichols are all meant to be good for afternoon tea.
 I can't give you a first hand account though.0

Ooo a subject close to my heart! I LOVE Afternoon Tea - or PMT as its called in my circle ha ha!!
Check out www.tea.co.uk which is the website of the UK Tea Council. Also try Lastminute.com for special offers.

If you're still looking, I would recommend the Bank on Mosley Street - good food, affordable, nice atmosphere; or the branch of Caffe Nero that's tucked away just off Cross Street, which is generally quite quiet and cosy.Homosexual, Unitarian, young, British, female, disabled. Do you need more?0
