  • Hi,

    I was in M&S food hall in Nottingham earlier today,
    I wasn't really looking at the '4 for 3' party food, but what I did notice was;

    smoked salmon pinwheels, mini smoked salmon bagels, fish and chip bites, mini cheesecakes, mini tortes.

    It seemed to be a lot of appetiser/canape style items - 8-12 pieces to a pack.
    It all looked lovely but I was only getting a dessert for tonight and didn't investigate in full.
    Hope this helps

    I recently had the displeasure of trying nearly all the party food from all the major retailers in a taste pannel. The majority of wich was mass produced fodder, made in the far east, frozen and then assembled in the UK for that all important made in the UK stamp. It was awful. The exception was the Waitrose and M&S products. If you seriously believe that Iceland's offer tastes better then I fear for you judgement on any food. Its the lowest of the low, sold only to people who want a lot and don't care whats in it and what it tastes like.

    You get what you pay for.
  • As for the actual offer. Its 3 bits of party food and one bottle of wine (or soft drink alternative). The majority of the party food you see in stores now is included from what I can tell. Prices are between £2.99 - £5.99 each, obviously with the deal they are a lot cheaper.
    There are leaflets on the tills in the stores I have been in giving details of the party in and discount vouchers for January if anyone wants to take a look.
