Your OH sounds lovely Maria :). I'm sick of the snow too, we've had more today, they were huge flakes too and it settled really quickly. I just want to be able to drive to work without thinking I'm going to crash :(. I saw one on Friday and one this morning so that's 2 out of 2 drives to work where I've seen crashes :(.

Oh dear!! always funnier when someone else falls over :-)

Am fed up with spending day after day trawling the net trying to think of money making plans so I can leave my job-am just going round in circles!
    I have 3 options
    1) go back to work when i feel better even though it's a crap job with even crapper bosses who are bullies.
    2) don't go back and rely on my jewellery business/mystery shopping/scratchcards...might not make any money!
    3) go back to work but just for 2 days that will cover my bills.

Option 3 seems like the sensible one but don't know if my bosses will go for it-if I ask to be put down to 2 days they might get rid of me anyway. Annoying thing is if I didn't have this anxiety/depression thing (I dont mean just at the moment-its been underlying for years now) I would have told them to stick it years ago and looked for something else, trouble is it takes so much to pluck up the courage to apply for jobs and start something new that I can't face it again.

Sorry to put the thread back on a downer but all this is going round and round in my head and I can't sleep! Apart from this issue I feel fine in myself so need to come to a decision.

Can you not expand on the jewellery? making kits to sell? parties for peeps to make things and take one home, etc etc.

I'm thinking of something to do next year to earn some more cash, as with my roof trouble yesterday we're now skinto, and I don't like it.

Hi Yukki- that's a great idea but I couldn't face demonstrating stuff at parties etc, I don't even go to parties lol! There is another wedding shop I can contact after Xmas who has bought from me before so might again.
Have signed up to another couple of mystery shopping companies tonight, just waiting to hear back if I've passed the tests.
Good luck with your moneymaking next year- hopefully we'll both come up with some ideas.

Hey mm, i think you should choose option 3 tell them you want to have the 2days so you can get used to getting back to work when the doc says you can.

And whilst your off i think you just need to advertise your website to get more trade because your items are amazing and i just think people need to know your jewellery exists.

Hope everything works out in the end, and its not a downer at all its just looking at what your options are. :D
