I was a bit worried for a while there what would happen to me in the end but 2010 has come along and i am off to a flying start
i think i might set some goals for 2010 today! I think the focus is going to be on me this year but there will be a (smaller than usual) money target:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

I love slippers! I got some really lovely soft boot style ones from Tesco before christmas, they're so soft I keep touching them
. I've been mooching about in my new socks again too
. Our sofa doesn't have any cushions, I do like them to look at but I never used them even when we did have them on the sofa because I thought they were uncomfortable too.
Is crochet hard mm? I was contemplating the magazine as I've always wanted to be able to crochet, I can knit (albeit barely, my nan still has to fix it for me when I mess it up) but I've always been under the impression crochet is harder. I've been attempting to knit a hot pink and black baby blanket, how's that for sad? lol
I'm glad you're feeling better Jen. I went to lunch with OH's parents, sisters & their kids earlier. There are loads of them but I don't have much of an extended family so I've adopted his now. He has a four year old niece who is so sweet, she's always trying to give other people things.
Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
Basic crochet is really easy and really quick- not sure about more technical patterns etc. The baby blanket sounds cool! Emo blankets!!
Have just changed my eBay account to a business one as I've been buying some stuff to list. I'm now startrading2010 :-) star stands for steve,Tracey and Rosie (OH, me and the dog!!-a family business lol) might be trying to make a go of that and the jewellery and not go back to work.0 -
Cool MM, i hope your jewellery sells well and you dont have to go back to work.
Does it cost any extra for a business account on ebay?? Im wondering if im any good at card making etc, i might try sell wedding favours, invitations etc on ebay. I know theres already a huge market on ebay already for things like that, but id like to give it a go.
Then i would have to sort out the whole tax thing too, which would confuse me i bet!Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -

thanks Maria and Yukki :-) Tax is easy (and I am a mathmatical idiot) I just do it online and there is help all along the form. If you get really stuck u can ring the tax helpline and they are really helpful.
It doesnt cost any extra Maria-not sure how well invitations would sell as there are hundreds of people doing it and they charge silly prices that dont even cover their time. Thats why I dont sell my jewellery on ebay. Perhaps try local wedding shops and ask if you could put example invitations in their shops for a cut of the sales?
Am quite excited about the new business-just hope it works!!!0 -
I really need to seriously think about it I think. Good luck with your new venture, what's your line? (or is it secret?)0
