Hi everyone, I hope you all had a nice christmas. I've been in bed on and off for days because I'm ill. I'm supposed to be back to work tomorrow which will be fun as I feel rubbish but I need the money so I don't have a lot of choice about it. I've just joined the save £1 a day thread, it should be quite easy to do and it would be nice to start next year with £365

Morning, hope everyones alright.
Oohhh i like the sound of that £1 a day thread, i may go join it too.
My grandad was taken to hosiptal yesterday, he thought he was having another heart attack but it turned out to be a bad chest infection. But they have kept him in anyway as he 86 bless him.
Then the dog was ill and we found out it was because he had eaten tinsel off the christmas tree!!! Silly dog! lol, but he seems to be ok now.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Hi Maria, I hope your grandad is out of there soon, I'm glad it wasn't a heart attack. Dogs will eat anything! Ours ate a lot of chicken which my sister had left on the side, bones and all. She was worried one of the bones would puncture something but he was okay somehow.
I'm sure I'll be able to save the £365 so I'll have to think of what I'm going to do with it. I have my car insurance and MOT in Jan so maybe that (fun lol). I'm going to try and convince OH to do it as well as he always has loads of change hanging about, he's terrible for frittering on crap. I think he's forgotten what it's like to be paid rubbish wages. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
