  • thanks for this find!! yet again costing me money claire!!! lol:beer:

    ok rant time!!
just had to comment on how stupid this forum is getting at the momment for petty posts!! are you all just stressed out by xmas??

i have checked both threads for all argos bargains!! but i do agree with both claire and emweaver!! claire did post this deal first! then emweaver did later in the argos thread and emweaver did post many bargains so i don't think she reposted this one just to be spiteful!!!!

i dont think the post on here by mobby was needed! you do not command the argos deals they do not ALL have to go on your thread!! and while i do agree with you that the board is so busy at the moment it's just because there are so many deals to be had.

i also think that if all deals from stores were on one thread you can miss some real bargains!!

what i have posted above is all my own take on this matter i just think grabbit should go back to been about the baragin and the hunt!! not about stupid thanks buttons!!! does anyone really care how many times they have been thanked!!??? lol:rotfl:

ok rant over i will get ready for the abuse to come my way but save your time and fingers typing as it won't bother me i'm in too much of a christmas happy mood!!! :D

Well I've clicked spam on the top of the thread, I think that there is no need for the childish comments from anyone and hope that a mod deletes this thread.

Pls be nice to all MoneySavers.

I think (hope) we are all on the forum to help each other find bargains and save money. To me it doesn't matter if something is posted once, twice or even more times. Mods can merge threads if they feel it necessary.

As mentioned by emmab above...perhaps Xmas is stressing folks out. This is usually one of the friendliest forums I have ever had the pleasure of belonging to.

Wishing all forums members a merry christmas with lots of money saving bargains.

Surely if a post is buried in a long Argos thread it's handy to repost good bargains in a thread of their own. I only scan the forum 'headlines' and don't read every thread in detail (e.g. trawl through the M&S one, the Argos one etc). I suspect most people are interested in searching for bargains that are really cheap, rather than those from a particular shop. And also most would be interested in a 50% off code but not a 2% code.

It takes a matter of seconds to put your mouse over the 'headline' and see if it's of interest. I really don't understand people's irritation.

Personally, I very very rarely think 'Oh I've already seen this' when I read threads, so thanks again to those who see something and want to share it. In my opinion the Grabbit and Code boards work really well.
